Enterprise Challenge

Programme Brief Groups of students are partnered with a business advisor who supports and guides them through the challenge. Students make important business decisions, creating a business run by determined and innovative entrepreneurs. The newly formed company designs and manufactures a product to sell at local trade fairs, dealing head on with the highs and lows of business, defining their companies’ success by creating opportunities and meeting deadlines.  Programme cost and more information...Return to the Programme Portfolio
Each company will directly compete against the other student companies in the Enterprise Challenge to win the coveted. Students will also be responsible for the marketing, finance, sales and ICT while working towards a final company report and presentation. The ‘Company of the Year’ award is a dazzling showcase of talent judged by prominent local business people. Booking is recommended NOW for this programme

Programme Overview


 

Students will learn all the skills necessary to work with others as a functioning company. They will develop the skills to communicate and negotiate in a competitive environment.
Students will learn the true meaning of deadlines as they set themselves their own challenges that will define the successes and opportunities of their company.
Students will see their efforts realised by taking culminating in a trade fairs across the county
Students will also be responsible for the marketing, finance, sales and ICT

Learner Outcomes The programme will assist students in gaining key skills essential to the delivery of their final presentations, portfolios and trade stands. They will also learn all the necessary skills to prepare them for their future employability including using initiative, teamwork, decision making, marketing and finance. Students will learn skills necessary to work with their fellow peers as a functioning company. They will develop the skills to communicate, network and negotiate in a competitive environment.
