Brief This one day programme highlights
the world beyond the UK. Practical activities are used to demonstrate
issues such as cultural empathy, global trade and business ethics. Our
ever changing economic environment underlines the importance of the need
for an understanding of the world around us.

Programme Overview

Engagement of pupils through
icebreaker global marketplace quiz
Students will learn about
imports and exports leading into a business ethics debate
Students engage in a Global
Trading game; exploring the concepts of raw materials, manufactured
goods and economic status
Role play highlighting cultural
differences will help raise awareness and empathy for global
cultures
Through role play students play
out and explore international debt, impacts of tourism and
environmental issues
The growing economic divide and
social responsibilities are highlighted through practical examples
and encouragement of debates

Outcomes Students will learn about the business basics and
