Programme
Brief Individuals will be able to demonstrate their abilities
in speaking and creatively using their chosen language speciality. The
teams are scored throughout the day using a running total board for
their use of language and ability to complete complex language and
cultural awareness challenges.

Programme Overview
|
• Introduction and briefing into the
day
• Students introduce other members of
their team using their chosen language speciality
• Students explore the concept of
marketing typically British products in Europe
• Students are addressed by a
representative of the Regional Language Network on the relevance of
learning a language for business
• Students are joined by foreign
language students from an *affiliated language school to create and
market a complete fast food outlet for an appropriate European
country
• Students presents their ideas using a
combination of English and a foreign language
• The day concludes with a selection of
panel games conducted in a variety of languages

Outcomes Students will understand the challenges faced in
marketing British products abroad. They will be able to use their
language skills creatively in a competitive environment. They will
improve their ability to interact with native speakers of their chosen
language.

G.C.S.E., Language specialist schools and colleges. This programme
runs in conjunction with the Regional Language Network (South-West)
and available in Dorset, Somerset and east Hampshire only |
