The Enterprise and Skills Company is
delighted to be involved with such enterprising and innovative schools
Here's what they're saying about the event...
Just to say thanks to
the team for a great day, our HALO students really enjoyed themselves.
Jane Hopkins - Practical Learning Adm. - Twynham School
...may I take the
opportunity to thank all of you for a really superb day; the students &
I had a fantastic time. I consider this to be our best visit in terms of
opening the students eyes into the possibilities of the world of work in
the leisure industry.
Thanks for all your efforts.
Best wishes
Liz Tonkin - The Grange School
It was a pleasure to be
involved - a great event which I am sure has a BIG impact of the young
people who come.
Let's hope there is another one next year.
Regards
Helen Crawford - Bournemouth & Poole College
I should just like to
say how much I enjoyed both the days, everything seemed very well
organised and I think feedback given by the companies last year was
acted upon, consequently the timing, group sizes and lunch arrangements
all worked well.
I was pleasantly surprised at how well behaved all the children were and
in particular The Grange; the students were all very polite and
attentive and their teachers the most charming and grateful for our
efforts of any who attended.
I hope they enjoyed their time with Bath Travel, I know they liked being
scanned by the air hostess as they left us on the way to Palmair. They
were extremely concerned at what the scanner may have found in their
pockets and we teased them mercilessly about the consequences of finding
lighters etc so they were very relieved when they were cleared to go on
their way!
I am sure I can speak for us all when I say that Bath Travel would be
delighted to participate again next year.

We like to be involved
in anything that will give the students new experiences and also show a
little bit of what floristry actually involves - so many people think it
is 'playing with pretty flowers' when it is actually a very hard career
and involves years of training which is ongoing! Please feel that you
can get in touch for next year and I am sure that we will do what we
can.
Best wishes
